Hello Guys,

I was considering Dension to connect my iphone to listen to music as well as bluetooth functionality coz it looks like the complete solution for anybody driving E60 prior to 2007.

But I just came across this:

http://diceelectronics.com/media-bridge-info

It looks like have the same functionality as Dension or even better . It even has satellite radio option and its $200 cheaper than Dension.

I don't know if its gonna work for my car but just wanted to spread the word so that somebody can shed more light on this.

Please let me know what you guys think.

PS: I was trying buy this for my 2004 Non-Nav, Non-CDC, NO-MP3 but Logic 7 E60.

Thanks

received my Dension from FANTASTIC 5 more than a week ago and the transaction was great,id say go with a tried and tested unit like the Dension but that's just my 2 cents, you get what you pay for in my opinion.

GW500 +1 I'm very happy with this product, one of best mod so far for my E60

I've been trying to get another group buy going, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I am, however, still offering these for sale for only $430 shipped to forum members.

Even at $430, it's probably the best price you'll find on these GW51MO2's. Currently, I have about a dozen of these in stock and ready to ship. Dension also just increased the price of these units by +$40. So after I sell out of this batch, the newer shipment will be at a higher price (most likely $470 shipped).

MODEL: GW500 (Part # GW51MO2)
FITS: 04-Up BMW 5-Series (E60)
PRICE: $430 shipped via UPS Ground (to 48 states)

Additional Shipping to:
PO BOX: +$15 via USPS Priority
AK, HI: +$15 via UPS Ground
CANADA: +$15 via UPS Standard
UK, GERMANY: +$45 via UPS Worldwide Expedited

Also, if you want the Dension BTA1500 Bluetooth, I can offer them for only $90 if I ship it with your GW51MO2. If you already have the GW500, and only want the BTA1500, the price is $99 shipped.

* All other int'l buyers, PM me for rates. If you're in SoCal, you're welcome to pick it up as well.

Above are "out-the-door" prices--PayPal, shipping, insurance and tracking are all included.

To use this GW51MO2, you don't need factory CDC or a MP3 compatible radio. If your E60 has a non-MP3 radio and no CDC, you'll just need to have your car coded for an iPod retrofit at the dealership. Expect to pay about an hours worth of labor for this coding.

PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Joe

If you read the compatible cars its only good for 5 series 97-03. Just as I figured, but good try. Dension is still the way to go.

$430 is a good price shipped. Its as low as you can get it from a retailer online.

Hy FANTASTIC 5.

Is this offer still valid?

I would have been interested with the OEM solution but as long as it requires a kind of board computer upgrade, this solution doesn't fit me.

Indeed, I have a remap done on my car and I've already experienced a loss of this one because of an update done on my board computer... Don't want to do the same mistake twice...!

I read the PDF attached to your message. The thing I can say is that my car has the ability to display songs' title. On the other hand, I do not have CD charger. Car's EIS was on 11/2005.

Do you think the GW500 could be installed on my car? Is there any no-go?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards.
