Scott,

As soon as this E46 M3 system is 100% complete our attention can be focused on the V8?s! We have completed the manual trans and we will bw finished with the SMG software in the next two weeks!

That?s for your patience- it will be worth the wait!

Regards,

From my last conversation with VFE in December 2006, they were targeting end of first quarter/start of second to release the x45/x50 S/C. Based on the email you've provided it sounds like they are on schedule. But, you never know.

Didn't you guys have a prototype SC on a 645 some two years ago? I thought at the time it was running and operational.

There's a Meet sponsored by VF Engineering this coming Saturday over at Corner Bakery (7am - 9am) in Irvine Spectrum. They're going to bring by a S/C e46 M3. I'm thinking about showing showing up and asking about the S/C for the x45/x50.

If you're going to this, might as well stop by the CC meet. There should be some nicely modded M5s along with the regular assortment of exotics for you to check out. Honestly it's a bit of a bore though, so you should have plenty of time to get to the spectrum afterwards.
