FINE automobile.
Although red carpet (I'll call it red) is not my favorite, with the grey and black accents, this red makes a very elegant combination worthy of this beautiful vehicle.

Interior is a killer compared to plain E60. Afterwards you want to take every possible extra to make up for the difference. My opinion is that E60 had a bad luck with interior designer (Canadian Lebanese if I'm not mistaken). I hope it was his

The interior is what does it for me. What color is that?

Thank you all for the nice comments. I will respond to several of your comments in this post.
1. The interior is Chateau (which is a wine red, burgundy color, the pictures make the leather look much more red than it really is because of the flash).
2. Yes that is Devon Hill BMW, in Devon, PA
3. Jimbo is right, pictures just don't do this car justice. It really does look different and more attractive in person.
4. The interior styling is great but you are correct that it does not have the functionality of the E60 and sedans. There really isn't much storage space for anything. However the trunk is the largest I've seen on a convertible, even fit my suitcase with the top down.
5. This car can fly! I was trying to keep my speed and engine revs in check during my break in period but it is too easy to speed! Plus the sound of the engine and exhaust is exhilirating! SWEET rumble
6. The rear window is small, especially with the flying butresses of the convertible top sticking out behind it. However, the side mirrors are elongated and make up for the limited rear view.
7. I personally love the rear of the 645, makes it look very intimidating on the road. In fact, it is very close to the Porsche 911, if you curve down the lip they are twins.
8. Finally, this car is definately a GT. I drove up to NYC from Philly this weekend and it was such an enjoyable drive. Even managed to put the top down today, although it was chilly. Definately a head turner.
I will post more pictures this coming week.
Cheers,
Rob

What a beautiful car !
When I was picking up my e60 at the Delievery Center in Munich on June 23, a BMW engineer took delievery of his 645. It was identical to yours. That car was spectacular! Just like yours.
