The BMW driving event was in town today and I drove a 550Gt, it was kinda base, no NAV, ugly color must be one they new they weren't going to sell right away.
Unlike most I really like the style and the interior design. The car just blew me away, sport mode made all the difference.
With the DCS off the car was ridiculous!! I had a blast! I like it more than my 545i, the new idrive is awesome, the sport+ mode was insane. The tires were peeling out from stop lights! Seemed faster than my 545i, but it needs a sprintbooster for the lag.
Driving it seemed like a much smaller car than it actually was. It was very responsive, quick around turns, and had a nice exhaust rumble. If i was in the market for a new car at the time it would be an option. Just thought ide share my experience. But I took a friend to the event and he is in the process of ordering a new X6. Did ya know they make them in south carolina? No euro delivery
