Sometimes it is important to know when exiting a hairpin that your extreme amount of opposite lock might be worth unwinding if the next stretch of road you face is straight. Sometimes you correct, sometimes you embarrass yourself, and sometimes you flip. Though his shirt says “courage,” one has to assume flips were not in today’s schedule.

Now, you have to feel for this guy. Crashing a Bimmer is not a proud moment, and having it caught on camera is even worse. He also appears pretty stunned after the incident, but at least he’s okay, aside from a bruised car and a demolished ego.

This is why you keep it off the roads, kids. With the many offerings of BMWCCA track days at the ready, there’s almost no excuse to be driving this reckless on a busy road. I can’t say that you must always stick to the speed limit – we’re enthusiasts and we drive with spirit – but there’s a big difference between that and driving like you just found out that drifting is an aphrodisiac.
