Are F10 Mods Worthwhile?

If you’ve been on the fence about mods for your F10 M5, and wondering if they make much of a difference, I can definitively say the answer is “yes.” Even something so simple as a tune and exhaust can yield some mighty impressive results. We’re not talking new turbos or engine internals or any other rocket science equivalent technology. Just some basics.

Palm Beach International Raceway hosted this race, and let’s give credit where it is due for the modified M5, as he had a much better launch than the stock version. But results are results. Nearly one full second in, the 1/4 mile is nothing to scoff at, and hugely impressive for just some light mods. Even more impressive is an 11.3@127 in a car with all of the niceties of a BMW M5. Kick some butt at the track, and travel home surrounded by leather.

Do you have a story about your own F10 mods? Did the results seem as impressive as that shown in the video? We want to know if this is more than just a one-off win from a bad launch. We have a feeling that the V8 in the M5 takes kindly to some tweaking.
