BMWs Really Love Crashing on the Nürburgring

BMWs and the Nürburgring go hand in hand. Only about six hours from the BMW headquarters in Munich, the Nordschleife is a backyard proving ground for what’s supposed to be The Ultimate Driving Machine. There’s a reason BMW has its own ‘Ring taxis. The problem is, not every ultimate driving machine has an ultimate driver, and the people over at AA Nordschleife Media wanted people to know as much.

The cool part about this track is that it isn’t exclusively for manufacturers. It’s open for the public to drive, and there are several organized amateur races. That might have something to do with the fact that there are so many crashes at The Green Hell. The compilation below brings together all sorts of crashes and wrecks. There are spinouts, driving the wrong ways, collisions, wet fishtails, dry fishtails, and even some impressive saves. Check out the action from the M3, M5, and just about all other sport BMWs.
